Unclaimed, 2024

This work invites contemplation on the histories embedded within everyday garments. By reworking unclaimed clothing from her local dry cleaner - each piece abandoned, yet full of untold stories - Isabel transforms these garments into abstract forms that speak to the invisible threads connecting us to our possessions.

Materials

Shirts (cotton, polycotton), waistcoat (polyester, viscose), pattern hook.
Pieced textiles with machine stitch.
