Department Store Studios
I was commissioned by the architecture practice Squire and Partners to make a series of five textile artworks for a co-working space in Brixton called ‘The Department Store Studios’. Each artwork captures a different season - reflecting the evolving colours, shapes, textures and rhythms through the year.
The artworks are made from British Herdwick Wool felt, with hand stitched textile offcuts (coloured with natural dyes) and paper cord.
